'Africa Global' Panel Discussion | Ten North Group

Referring to directional systems used to orient movement, curator Tumelo Mosaka, together with artists and scholars, will explore how artists of African descent navigate the hierarchical arts landscape and raise questions about belonging, cultural connections, and artistic practice. The conversations complement the exhibition 'Fragmented Worlds / Coherent Lives', which is part of 'AFRICA GLOBAL'.

'AFRICA GLOBAL', the 2023 title of Ten North Group’s 'Art of Transformation' annual exhibition, is designed to explore issues in contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora. It brings artists of African descent from around the world to Miami in a series of exhibitions, panel discussions, performances, and film projections.
